I build backends that stay up.
Asynchronous FastAPI services on PostgreSQL, authentication that holds, and the Debian servers, containers and pipelines underneath them.
Two years of production ownership: schema design through to reverse proxy and TLS, with nobody downstream to hand the hard part to.
Physics at Universidad de los Andes behind the mathematical work: Kalman filtering, sensor fusion, and data pipelines that have to be right rather than merely finished.
